When the husband and wife team of Alberto and Elaine Morello opened their restaurant back in November of 1999, they raised the bar for fine Italian food in Santa Barbara. And they haven’t stopped since the opening. Serving authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate dining room, Chef Alberto Morello captures the essence of his native Sicily. Their creations are precise and simple without going overboard, so that the exact flavors are recognized, cherished, and sometimes surprising. They have a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, including Italian and local selections, to enhance the experience. Olio e Limone is located in what is becoming the center for excellent restaurants just a half block off of State Street and a half block below the Arlington Theatre.
